Meet Krysia Nowak
Job:
Educator, Taupō for Tomorrow - Department of Conservation.
Job description:
Create, develop and deliver environmental education focused around freshwater, often based at Tongariro National Trout Centre.
Work background:
I used to travel around Australia with a ‘Science Circus’ presenting science shows to school students.
Favourite part of job:
There are too many! One favourite thing is meeting students from all over the country (and sometimes the world!).
Least favourite part of job:
Taking tours when it’s raining!
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Environmental Science (Hons)
- Master of Science Communication
Interests outside work:
Climbing, cooking, birdwatching.
