Work background:
Plant breeding.
Favourite part of job:
Pollination – it is exciting to create new cultivars.
Least favourite part of job:
Moving heavy materials such as heavy crates of fruit.
What I am working on now:
Developing new apple rootstocks, selecting new summerfruit varieties.
A quick story about a job well done:
Managing a busy harvest season and getting all the new varieties picked at just the right maturity.

MSc Genetics.
Interests outside work:
