Job description:
SOUTH is a marketing initiative of Christchurch Airport partnering with the regions of the South Island to market “Destination South Island” to the high growth markets of Asia.
Work background:
I have worked in tourism as a marketer for more than 25 years with companies such as Air New Zealand, AJ Hackett Bungy and Hanmer Springs Thermal Pools.
Favourite part of job:
I enjoy every opportunity I get to tell travel sellers in Asia about our beautiful South Island and the many visitor attractions and activities available.
Least favourite part of job:
I don’t have anything that is not enjoyable, except perhaps writing reports.
What I am working on now:
The production of a new South Island Destination Travel Planner, a trade publication printed in Mandarin, and a series of promotional events in Taiwan.
Interests outside work:
I am a keen golfer.
